For internal door handles, we recommend occasionally washing all ironmongery with warm soapy water and buff drying with a soft cloth.
For external door handles, we recommend washing all ironmongery with warm soapy water, buff drying with a soft cloth and an application of a non-abrasive micro crystalline with a polish every 6 months. This will help aid the preservation and appearance of your door hardware. For applications within 15 miles of the coast, we recommend the cleaning process to be carried out more frequently to minimise potential corrosive salt deposits on the handles surface.
Please note: Do not use sprays, solvents, thinners or silicon-based cleaners on our ironmongery. This may cause irreversible damage to the product.
